For the first time, HSE has been awarded with the "Career & Family" label for its personnel policy oriented at coping strategy of work-life balance. This HR strategy is based on an audit of the "Career & Family“ Service GmbH, initiated by the non-profit Hertie Foundation, which regularly awards particularly family-friendly employers.
"We are very pleased about this award. We want to offer our employees an environment in which they can balance work and family in the best possible way," says Roman Klein, EVP HR. "This label is a proof that we are on the right way with our actions. In the last few months during the Corona pandemic we have realised how important it is to work continuously as an employer on a family-friendly HR policy which facilitates the work-and-life balance in all phases of life – even in challenging times," says Roman Klein.
Compatibility of professional and private life in all phases of life
The prerequisite for certification is the successful completion of the respective audit. At first, the offers already existing at HSE were determined. Then, together with the experts from "Career & Family", concrete measures were derived, which are defined in a target agreement. We continue to work on these measures to even more consciously orient our corporate culture toward different phases of life and family situations of our colleagues, thus enabling you to achieve an even better work-and-life balance.
