It is not without reason that the Brand & Merchandise department is one of the largest and most relevant interfaces at HSE: more than 120 employees are responsible for our diverse product range. Recognising and meeting the needs of our customers and constantly inspiring them is a real challenge.

You have full responsibility for the product range. Your job is to track down the trends of tomorrow and develop existing ones. You select suppliers and producers and create new theme worlds and show formats for your product innovations. You also take ownership of the development of your own brands and products. You know the market and are responsible for deciding which product, formula or concept will inspire our customers and drive up sales. In professional cooperation with the teams from planning, quality management, logistics and our specialists from TV production, you make special buying experiences possible.
You not only trade across departmental boundaries, but also across national borders. With a detailed analysis and the right strategy, you select the right products and suppliers in international procurement markets. You are inspired at trade fairs around the world and constantly bring new ideas into the company. Your influence on the corporate success of HSE is immense, because here in the Purchasing team we create the DNA of the products. You will find out in real time how well your products perform live.
Product development: Always the right fit

In close exchange with the product managers from the Purchasing department, you ensure early on in the product cycle that new items meet all requirements.
For initial samples in the Fashion department, you check the fit, for example, so that size 38 ultimately fits like a size 38. With home and decorative items, you also make sure that the materials, sizes, shapes, and functions work right from the start.

Where we work
Ismaning is located on the outskirts of Munich between the Bavarian capital and the airport. The HSE campus is 13 kilometers from the city center of Munich and is easy to reach by all means of transportation. The suburban train (S8) takes you from Ismaning to Munich’s Marienplatz in 23 minutes, or the airport terminal in just 15 minutes. There are also bus connections to the Studentenstadt (U6) subway station. Our campus offers everything you need: a cafeteria, roof terraces, various lawns, and green areas for a stroll during lunch, as well as plenty of free parking.
