Sales planning at the heart of omnichannel retail

In the dynamic world of home shopping, where our success depends largely on customer loyalty and sales, your affinity for figures and data plays a decisive role. You are the pacemaker who understands the complex interrelationships between the company divisions and relies on business analyses to create accurate forecasts. Based on these findings, you develop strategies for the various sales channels and optimise pricing in order to increase sales.

 

However, your responsibility does not end with analysis. You inspire with your ideas and concepts by selecting specific products and planning live programmes that inspire our customers. You will work hand in hand with a team of presenters, creators and studio crew to ensure that the shows are broadcast at the right time and with the right products.

We pursue a consistent omnichannel strategy in which the customer decides when and how they want to shop. Whether on television, online, on social media platforms or mobile – our products and theme worlds are everywhere. As part of the Category Management & Business Analytics department, you are at the centre of the action and have an influence on the entire HSE value chain.

Our reach is impressive: we reach around 45 million TV households, our shows are broadcast live 26 hours a day and last year, 1.4 million customers purchased at least one of our 17,000 products. These figures are impressive, but even more important is the fact that 99 per cent of our customers are happy to recommend us to others.

Where we work

Ismaning is located on the outskirts of Munich between the Bavarian capital and the airport. The HSE campus is 13 kilometers from the city center of Munich and is easy to reach by all means of transportation. The suburban train (S8) takes you from Ismaning to Munich’s Marienplatz in 23 minutes, or the airport terminal in just 15 minutes. There are also bus connections to the Studentenstadt (U6) subway station. Our campus offers everything you need: a cafeteria, roof terraces, various lawns, and green areas for a stroll during lunch, as well as plenty of free parking.
