What you can expect:

  • You continuously operate and further develop our IaC AWS solution.
  • You enhance the deployment platform to meet CI/CD standards.
  • You optimize the monitoring stack to ensure that errors in our services are automatically and proactively detected.
  • You continuously further develop the shared service components.
  • You evaluate new AWS services and share your knowledge with internal colleagues.
  • You take on additional tasks based on current requirements.

Requirements

  • You have a successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • You bring several years of experience in operating a cloud-native application based on the AWS stack.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of AWS.
  • You possess strong expertise in CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
  • You have experience in setting up AWS network environments.
  • You have experience in incident, problem, and configuration management processes.
  • You are characterized by strong problem-solving skills.
  • You impress with strong communication and enthusiasm, a hands-on mentality, and an agile mindset.
  • You are fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.

Where we work

Ismaning is located on the outskirts of Munich between the Bavarian capital and the airport. The HSE campus is 13 kilometers from the city center of Munich and is easy to reach by all means of transportation. The suburban train (S8) takes you from Ismaning to Munich’s Marienplatz in 23 minutes, or the airport terminal in just 15 minutes. There are also bus connections to the Studentenstadt (U6) and Arabellaparl (U4) subway station. Our campus offers everything you need: a cafeteria, roof terraces, various lawns, and green areas for a stroll during lunch, as well as plenty of free parking.
