Designing architectures and innovative e-commerce solutions – all with an agile mindset: that is IT at HSE

HSE stands for home shopping on all channels 24/7. Scheduled to the second, we consistently network TV, online, and mobile and offer extensive applications for Smartphone, SmartTV, and Tablet. For us it is critical to adapt the CRM processes to our IT infrastructure in this incredibly dynamic environment. But our business departments are also networked. From design and architecture through conception and realization to support and the further development of innovative e-commerce solutions: omnichannel trade is only possible with functional IT.

We enable success. With around 90 internal employees, we are the enablers of digitization. With our IT systems we support the value chain from receiving the order up to the delivery to the customer. Be it collaboration tools, laptops, smartphones, or cloud architecture: We make sure that everything works flawlessly and is networked. We ensure that the e-commerce and CRM platforms function without fault and everything runs smoothly, from the idea for a product to purchasing in the Far East and ordering from our suppliers.

How we work

We want to react quickly to the demands of our business, which is why agility and flexibility are very important to us in addition to the efficient use of our resources. We mostly work with Scrum, think in Sprints, and talk via Epics and User Stories. The terms Continuous Delivery, Design Thinking, and Big Data are a matter of course for us. Permanent development is what drives us. As the customer behavior of our target group changes and they are becoming younger and more digital, we must adapt. Our goal is to deliver added value for our customers every day. This is only possible with an architecture that makes this possible and that you, for example as a Solution Architect, can significantly contribute to shaping.

The technical transformation of the agile approach also leads us to Cloud Computing, Microservice Architecture, and a comprehensive understanding of data management.
We use the latest technologies such as Office 365, Windows 10, Skype for Business, Slack, Jira, Ansible, Docker, GitHub, and many others.

SAP: Consulting, Development, and Architecture

SAP ERP, TREX, IPC, WAS and SAP Netweaver – this is where you are right at home. As an SAP CRM Developer you are responsible for software development in SAP CRM with ABAP Objects in one of the large SAP reference environments. You will be responsible for the conception, design, and specification of ABAP development jobs and work with our SAP Consultants in the central requirements process during the joint solution design.

Your experience in the implementation or operation of CRM, Hybris, or ERP-related SAP applications as well as in the integration with other cloud solutions (for example from Purchasing, Logistics or Finance) is the best basis for you as an SAP Consultant or Solution Architect SAP CRM. You will design and implement sophisticated architectural developments and be responsible for the further development and operation of the SAP CRM system. And while as an SAP Consultant you are otherwise constantly “on the road” and far away from home, with us you are always close to your family thanks to the best work-life balance.

As a Full Stack Web Developer you develop and implement modern, responsive, web front-end and back-end solutions in an agile team. This also includes code reviews, performance analyses, and the implementation of software tests. You will work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and with common APIs/frameworks, tools and processes, such as jQuery, React, Foundation, Grunt, git, SASS/LESS, JavaScript Unit Testing or Selenium.

Scrum Master: Coach for agile values and methods

As a Scrum Master or Agile Coach you not only bring the necessary know-how about agile methods and tools, but also passion and curiosity for people and change. As a Scrum Master you advise the organization on agile values and methods and enable and support the Scrum process and the self-organization of the teams. Agility is not only a way of life in IT, it also carries over to other company departments. After all, digitization only works with appropriate processes and a working method that is tailored to the requirements.
