What you can expect:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of developers, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
Foster a positive team culture, encouraging open communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Oversee the technical aspects of software development projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and project objectives.
Create and implement technical strategies and roadmaps with your product and UX peers.
Lead the development and maintenance of applications using Kotlin, Swift, and other relevant technologies.
Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices, utilizing tools and concepts such as GitLab, Swagger, Clean Architecture, Kotlin Multiplatform and PACT.

Requirements

You have a track record of effectively leading and nurturing teams, focusing on coaching and empowering individuals to excel.
Your technical expertise spans both iOS and Android development using Swift and Kotlin, reflecting a strong foundation in software engineering.
You're familiar with agile methodologies like Scrum and have successfully implemented them across teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Your proficiency in version control systems, such as GitLab, ensures smooth collaboration and seamless project management.
Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
You bring added value with your experience in utilizing tools like Bitrise, Firebase, Amplitude, Swagger, and PACT, enriching the tech stack and enhancing project capabilities.

Where we work

Ismaning is located on the outskirts of Munich between the Bavarian capital and the airport. The HSE campus is 13 kilometers from the city center of Munich and is easy to reach by all means of transportation. The suburban train (S8) takes you from Ismaning to Munich’s Marienplatz in 23 minutes, or the airport terminal in just 15 minutes. There are also bus connections to the Studentenstadt (U6) subway station. Our campus offers everything you need: a cafeteria, roof terraces, various lawns, and green areas for a stroll during lunch, as well as plenty of free parking.
